The book focuses on his time in the service of Ludovico Sforza in Milan, and also the work of his followers, in paricular Luini & Sodoma. Archibald William Robertson Don [ 1890 - 1916 ] Lieutenant in the Black Watch who died of Malaria in Salonika. His signature is dated Florence, 1911 - he was on vacation in Italy during the summer of that year.
